EcoFarmer provides services to farmers, input suppliers, produce buyers and other service providers, including unions, development partners and government. The services are at various stages of deployment.

What services can farmers get on EcoFarmer?

Farmers can get advisory information, weather-related information, market information, marketing services, financial services and information on their markets over their phone. Most services require farmers to first register on EcoFarmer by providing their province, district, ward number and farm type. 

How can I register on EcoFarmer as a Farmer?

To register on EcoFarmer, farmers should dial *144#, select 1, and supply the requested information.  Customers are requested to register on EcoCash before registering on EcoFarmer.

How deregister on EcoFarmer?

Dial *144#, Select Help, and Select Deregister.

How do I access different services on EcoFarmer?

EcoFarmer Services are provided over web, mobile applications, the USSD, SMS or over the Interactive Voice Channel (IVR)

  1. To access services over the USSD, dial *144#, and select service required
  2. To access services over SMS, sent and request for the text codes and send the service request to the SMS Short Code 144.
  3. To access services over IVR, dial 144, and follow the voice prompts.
How do I unsubscribe from a specific paid for service on EcoFarmer?

To unsubscribe from a specific subscription service on EcoFarmer, dial *144#, select the service category, select the service and select Unsubscribe.
